Across an outdoor construction site, an indoor commercial building under construction, and general workplace scenarios, participants learn to recognize risks and immediately see the safe work practices that should be applied.
The experience highlights everyday issues such as missing or incorrect PPE, poor housekeeping (tools or materials left on the floor), unsafe access routes, unsecured loads, blocked emergency exits, and improper storage of materials. Each identified hazard is paired with a clear best-practice recommendation aligned with established HSE standards, reinforcing both what is wrong and how to correct it.
By repeatedly scanning their surroundings, selecting hazards, and reviewing corrective actions, learners build practical risk-assessment skills they can transfer directly to the job. The module supports toolbox talks, safety refreshers, and onboarding by turning passive instruction into active decision-making.
